Carly Elena Stagg, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, FNTP, IC-FHS, FSS, CHP

Family Nurse Practitioner & Nutritional Therapist

As both a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN, MSN, FNP-C) and Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner® (FNTP), trained through the Nutritional Therapy Association and the Institute for Functional Medicine, Carly blends conventional medicine know-how with a heart-filled, holistic and integrative approach.

By the age of 16, Carly had three chronic autoimmune diseases and a laundry list of symptoms. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 12, Celiac Disease at 16, and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia (POTS) at 18. After feeling hopeless for many years, functional nutrition was the game changer that restored Carly to full health and vibrancy. She has completed both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science degree in Nursing and is a licensed and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also pursuing her certification in Functional Medicine from IFM (expected November 2022).

Carly is passionate about the innate healing capability of the body and especially the art of caring for her patients in a way that supports the body’s optimal function rather than interfering. This is a concept that is at the very center of our training program.

Carly currently sees patients for functional medicine care via telehealth at Ritual Functional Medicine. When she’s not serving patients or geeking out on health and nutrition topics, you can find her spending time with family and friends, running, leading worship, and sunshine-filled walks with her Goldendoodle puppy, Oakley.

Chelsea Blackbird, CHP, NTP, RWP

Nutritional Therapist + Founder of the Christian Health Club

Chelsea, known as The Christian Nutritionist, has been working with clients for over ten years. She is the host of The Christian Health Club Podcast and creator of numerous Biblically-focused health programs including Feast 2 Fast®, The Genesis Prescription, 10x Stronger and Self-Coaching Christians. She has advanced training in gut health, hormones and nutritional blood chemistry and uses functional lab testing in her practice.

Chelsea became passionate about health and nutrition after using dietary and lifestyle modifications to overcome “unexplained” infertility, digestive issues, and a lifelong skin condition called Hidradenitis Suppurativa. After finishing her nutrition certification, she felt God calling her to teach health using Biblical principles and with all eyes on Him. It’s been her great joy to create a community of clients who love the Lord and want to honor their bodies as holy temples.

In addition to God and nutrition, her loves are her husband and three precious kiddos. You can find them spending lots of time at their Texas ranch (check out their grass-fed beef biz here!).
